Jum Jum Spirit is 21 yrs old now.  Over our years together we have covered many miles in our chosen sport of endurance riding.  We have many proud memories, though two stand out front of mind.  These two precious memories are the successful completion of our National Championships, the Tom Quilty Gold Cup - 100 miles in one day.  Not once, but twice we proudly completed this demanding and exhilarating ride.    

A day in the life of an endurance horse usually starts at 4am, breakfast and then out on track.  We endeavour to trick the summer heat of the Southeast corner of Queensland by setting off with our headlamp lighting up the bush tracks and sharing the silence of the morning with the dawn creatures.   

To train for a ride such as the ‘Quilty’ it takes, heart and dedication.  Jum Jum Spirit has both these traits in abundance.  A friend, a travelling partner, a fellow journeyman, Jummy still enjoys his morning rides, we just don’t need to have our eye on the buckle anymore.    

Then along comes Pearl Divine.  Bright and breezy and 8 yrs old.  Jummy and Pearl have a friendship like no other I’ve seen.  Jummy supports Pearl with a twitch of an ear as she heads out the gate at 4am to cover the tracks that he himself has pounded for the past 14 years.    

Training and focused Pearl has begun on her journey of endurance.  It is a long way back to the beginning and a privilege to be part of Team Stance Equitec. No one does it all on their own.  It takes a team to get to the starting line and the success of completion and or the glow that comes with just doing our best is so much sweeter when it is shared.   

Stance Equitec products have carried Jum Jum Spirit a long way.  Of course, feed requirements need amending as workloads change and seasonal conditions fluctuate.  The beauty of Stance products is that they can also be used to address individual issues.  For example:
